  Dr.Mruthyunjaya, Director, NCAP, New Delhi

  Dr.Mruthyunjaya Graduated from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore with the gold medal for general merit. He excelled in the Masters (UAS, Bangalore) and Doctrol (IARI) programes in Agricultural Economics. He received the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for the best Ph.D Thesis.

  He worked as Scientist in IIHR Bangalore and CAZRI Jodhpur and as Professor of Agricultural Economics in IARI, before joining as Assistant Director General in the ICAR.

  His contributions in the field of Economics of Risk and Uncertainty in Agriculture are note worthy. He has been offering his yeoman services for the cause of Agricultural and Resource Economics in India.

  Dr.S.Bisalaiah, Ex-Vice-Chancellor, UAS, Bangalore

  Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Minnesota. Over 30 years of experience in teaching, research and development work. Studied Resource Economics focusing on irrigation, forestry, fishery, minerals at the University of Minnesota.

  Over 140 research publications / reports covering areas of Economics of Technical change in Agriculture, Forestry, Irrigation etc.

  Coordinator for preparing Agro-climatic Regional Planning for 34 districts of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu, sponsored by the Planning Commission, Government of India.

  Dr.P.G.Chengappa, Ex-Vice-Chancellor, UAS, Bangalore

  Ex-Vice Chancellor, UAS, Bangalore and Director of Instruction (Agri), College of Agriculture, UAS, GKVK, Bangalore.
  
  Over six years of work experience in forestry of which four years was in a World Bank Project, in Nigeria and over two years as Coordinator, Regional center for Social Forestry in South India, sponsored by - National Waste Land Development Board NWDB).

  1. He is the Visiting Scientist at ICRISAT - 1996.
  2. He has Guided Two Ph.D and 10 M.Sc. students in Agricultural Economics as Major Advisor.
  3. Experience in Commercial organizations as Board of Director.
  4. Completed Five projects and currently operating Two projects.
  5. Director of Student Welfare during 1985-88.
  6. Member, Technical Advisory Group of NABARD.
  7. Member, Sub-group on marketing - Stagnation of Agricultural productivity, Government of Karnataka.
  8. Member, Sub-group - Agriculture, State Planning Board, Government of Karnataka.
  9. Member, VIII plan preparation committee of the Government of Karnataka.
  10. Member, Agricultural Marketing Extension services, Directorate of Marketing and Inspection, Government of Karnataka.
  11. Member, Agricultural- Member on committees constituted by Government of Karnataka to study the problems of farmers.
