• He served as a member of multi-disciplinary team for planning, monitoring and evaluation of Dry Land Development Program through watershed approach with a focus on location specific land use plan in Karnataka.



• He was involved in research programs at the Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC) at Bangalore in evolving cluster approach to Rural Development and examining models for Sustainable Agriculture.



• He teaches Econometrics II for Ph.D students in the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore.



• His doctoral dissertation is in the field of risk and uncertainty in land economics at the CESS, Hyderabad.
